Mothers are Mothers

You must’ve heard about a male snake eating its own eggs or even young ‘uns, or that of a tom cat trying to devour its own kitten, and the female counterparts of them both combating with them until they’ve fought off this threat to their children as far away as they can.
So mums are mums. No matter they’re of yours or of an animal having only a fraction of heart & mind as compare to you. But the thing is that what has made a female(mind it, we are not talking about only human females) bear such startling & astonishing love for her child that in spite of being feeble otherwise, she never fear combating with the worst brute if it’s likely to harm her child? (No good example than that of *Lilly James* fighting dark lord off *Harry Potter* at the expense of her own life, that otherwise seemed rather funny of somebody trying to avert that dreadful wizard!)

And the answer is in the form of a saying I read once, “because God couldn’t be every where physically in this world, so he made mothers”.

Now, I strongly feel it to be so much true. ALLAH certainly provided all mothers with a great power of love so to let us experience some of his providence & love physically & probably also to provide us with a bridge to assess him by creating mothers.

Here again in the provision of this love to mothers there is no distinction of a beast mother or a fairy Godmother; all are armed with exceptional love. A scorpion that even never spares its friend of its poisonous piercing sting, let alone an enemy, when becomes a mother -its stinging nature gives way to the affection that’s so weird for a scorpion to have. It carries its young one on its own back until that one’s able to look after itself.

Of course it’s not an episode of *loving animal mums* or something, but the way they love their kids is bizarre. I need hardly tell you of what a cat or a bitch or a hen would do to you if you try to come near their newly born or hatched kids. With that little a body they would try to “KO” you even at the expense of their own life. And let me share a very interesting bit of a documentary with you that I saw once.

A rat fighting with a centipede of its own size that was trying to pounce upon the newly born babies of rat. I felt completely overwhelmed to see how that small animal retaliated & fought with the lethal one to save its kids. At the end of the battle, although the defeated centipede had fled but the condition of rat was no better & it was obvious that it could hardly live any longer to fight more of the risks off, that its young one’s were vulnerable to.

But the story of the sacrifices made by mothers of all the times doesn’t end here. The miracles maternal love had performed are uncountable (of course not those typical miracles, shown in our films where a mother could restore the lost memory of her son by singing a nostalgic song, which a doctor regrets later why he couldn’t think of.) You certainly would have an idea of the history of “TAWAF” that’s performed during “HUJJ”. When hazrat IBRAHIM left hazrat HAJRA & hazrat ISMAIL in a barren valley so that he could move further for fetching them food & water. Hazrat ISMAIL being very young was in such a pitiful condition what with thirst & hunger that hazrat HAJRA couldn’t help sprinting all over the valley ransacking water. But as she would go away from his son, with the apprehension that some beast should reach there she would abruptly run back toward him, then finding him all right she again would scamper towards the other way to look for water & likewise she completed seven rounds there between his son & vale, until by grace of ALLAH, a spring sprouted near hazrat ISMAIL. And ALLAH liked this act of hazrat “HAJRA” so much that he made it a religious obligation during HAJJ in the name of TAWAF. And today we all perform it in the memory of her maternal adore during HAJJ.

This & many such stories are engraved in the history of man kind that humanity & true love still persists somewhere. What they say to us is that mothers are mothers and their love is something like an innate behavior that is biggest gift of ALLAH to man in the form of “MOTHERS” and the simplest meaning of this word is love. Love that is divine, pure, blind to all fears & surely the favorite most love kind of ALLAH on this earth.

So you should really feel fortunate if you have a mother. You can live normal even if God forbidden, you don’t have an essential body organ but it is worst if you don’t have your mother!!! It is THAT worse!!!
So don’t forget to rejuvenate your mother by telling her that she is the worthiest blessing & greatest gift to you & you owe her a lot. And keep this attitude toward her all your life.

Love your mums every day, like on a mother’s day!!!

LOVE YEW MAAA!!! MUUAAAHHH!!!
